Job Description (Final)

                                                                                                Shipping Supplies Sales Intern   Boxes, tape, toilet paper, stretch wrap, and gloves. These items don’t typically fill the trunk of a teenager, but they filled mine when I worked as a Sales Intern for a shipping supplies company. I spent every Monday in the office calling customers to set up meetings for the next week. Then on Tuesday through Friday, I was out in the field driving to see ten customers per day. Who You Are Matters

I'm from Duluth, GA. This is a suburb about 20 miles north of Atlanta. I'm going to Seattle, and I'm going to get there in my car since I have a full-time job waiting at Amazon Web Services (AWS). I'm like my parents in that we're all motivated and goal-driven, but also make time for family and other aspects of life besides work. I'm unlike my parents in our approaches to responsibility. I'm doing my best to live life care-free for the next year, while they have assets and family to manage. I also grew up in a more materially blessed and comfortable environment than they did. I developed my expectations for myself through my years of success growing up. I made higher grades and had more ambitious goals (due to my parents) than most of my friends, and I still expect more of myself than most of my hometown friends.
